Le Valinouët is situated in the heart of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, 45 km from Chicoutimi in the spectacular Mont-Valin range. It has snow. 100% natural snow. Lots of it, thanks to its special climatic conditions that produce an average of six metres (600 cm) of snowfall a year. The ski area boasts a respectable 350 m of vertical with a selection of 27 runs with variety to please all levels of skiing and riding.

Le Valinouët is linked to the Trans-Québec 93 and to the trails of the Caribou-Conscrits Snowmobile Club, making it a popular stop for snowmobilers. People at Le Valinouët are known for their friendliness and hospitality typical of the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region.

Once you arrive at Le Valinouët you’ll immediately realize every effort has been made to make your visit comfortable and hospitable. We provide daycare for kids. We offer special rental and lesson packages for school groups and businesses. We have programs for special needs people requiring sit skis or outriggers. We have a ski shop, a weekend and holiday shuttle bus service and our own private ski patrol in conjunction with the Canadian Ski Patrol. Our base lodge includes a full cafeteria, a restaurant/pub with seating for 150 (popular with snowmobilers), and The Yeti, our comfortable, cool bar. Le Valinouët is a favorite base for snowmobilers who head for the trails from our day lodge beginning early in the season.
